To the office...

Haven't been that good on this bloggin' thing lately, or for the last few months... Long story short: moving to a new flat can stress the shit out of you. But now I'm finally a very happy camper in my new place.

Speaking of - have finally got myself an office (in my flat). At that office needs a office chair. Wouldn't mind the beauty above - Zun Office Chair. Unfortunately I don't have $3015 to spare at the moment. But if you do, get it here.

Like a dream

Love the "Abyss of the disheartened" series from Heather Landis. So dramatic, dark and filled with love at the same time. Get them here.

Rankin

Last week iconic photographer and co-founder of Dazed & Confused magazine, Rankin, opened the exhibition "Open" at Milk Gallery in NYC. The exhibition is a summery of his 20 years in the business.

“I named the show ‘Open’ because it’s the state of mind I think I need to change as a photographer. I have to be open to new people, experiences, challenges. I hope my work reflects this.”

If you are lucky enough to be in NYC - take a look!

Meat & bread

Speaking of food. If I was going to Vancouver - I would definitly stop by Meat&Bread. Not primarly because their food looks yummi, but also because of their lovely pictograms, typography and not at least to get my hands on one of their products.

101 Cookbooks

One of my favorite places to go if I'm looking for inspiration in the kitchen is 101 Cookbooks. Nice pictures and great recipes. Have a look!

Back with love and Brendan Monroe

Back from St. Petersburg - and back in business...!
So, Brendan Monroe is quite a guy. He makes beautiful, organic wooden sculptures. Wouldn't mind one of these sitting in my bookshelf.

Andreas Murkudis

Went to Berlin last weekend and visited the fantastic Andreas Murkudis stores. They have three stores in a backyard - one for women, one for men and one for leather goods. In the men's store they also had home accessories. Among many things I fell for they had a beautiful black suede leather couch from E15, leather skateboard from Natalia Brilli (mentioned in this post) and this beautiful porcelain scull from Nymphenburg... So, if going to Berlin, Andreas Murkudis is the shit.

Pill organizer

Never thought that pills could look that good. Neat pill organizer from Supermarket.

Marble

According to danish interior magazine RUM, marble is the new black. I've never been a big fan of marble, but these lamps are really something. Actually quite nice. From A+A Cooren Design Office, called ORBIT-SPOT.

Type in the sky

Beautiful photo-typographic alphabet "Type in the sky" by photographer Lisa Reinermann.

Esra Røise

Check out the (in my opinion) coolest illustrator in Norway - Esra Roise. She has, among many things, done illustrations for Wallpaper*. Illustration above is one of my favorites.
